About
I'm a British photographer and creative director inspired by the relationship between people and the natural world. Whether I'm documenting regenerative farms, working with food producers, or directing and capturing outdoor athletes and land stewards in their element, I'm drawn to the human stories of what drives people's connection to nature and their care of the land.
In 2012, I co-founded Another Escape, a print publication about outdoor lifestyle, environmental stewardship, and regenerative living. It shaped my understanding of the world through my lens and taught me how to tell stories that matter—not just technically, but in ways that actually connect with people. That foundation shapes everything I do now.
These days I work with regenerative businesses, conservation projects, and outdoor brands who believe people belong in nature's story, not separate from it. My process is rooted in curiosity and collaboration. I invest time upfront workshopping the story, building rapport, and planning thoroughly so that when we're creating images, we have the freedom to respond to what unfolds. The images that resonate most come from genuine relationships and careful attention, not rushing through a shot list.

What My Clients Say
"The key to telling a story with images is not just an eye for a shot – it is an understanding of light, a knowledge of the subject and the ability to see the detail without losing sight of the subject. Through all our time working with Jody, he not only showed all of these skills, he also demonstrated a desire to collaborate, a wish to be flexible and gave honest feedback in everything - I recommend him highly."
